Mary Holt: Producer
I am so excited about the 2012 production of My Mama Monologues. My passion for this production comes from a connection we all share; we are all part of a greater family and we can all relate to stories about our mothers. I hope you will join us on May 4 and 5, 2012 as we present stories that will make you laugh, cry, giggle and sometimes will surprise you.
Shaunya Boddie: Director
The impact of mothers on our lives is a shared experience. Being a part of this production then is an honor, a joy, a no-brainer.
Cassia Hendrickson: Technical Director
My mom taught me to the "shoot for the moon" when it came to my theatrical passion and abilities. My grandma taught me to take life by the horns with boldness and courage, even if it meant being audacious at times. My other grandma taught me that faith as small as a mustard seed and communion with God can move life's mountains. I can't wait to creatively tell the stories of "Mamas" from all walks of life, in this 2012 Denver production of My Mama Monologues... What did your "Mama" teach you in this journey called life?
Carol Naff: Marketing Director
Our stories must be told to keep memories of our mothers alive and share with future generations. Our little nuggets must be told that reflect the history, joys, trials, struggles, and celebrations. Because of distance or even early deaths, many sons and daughters do not have the opportunity to enjoy relationships with grandmothers. My Mama Monologues gives you a chance to keep your stories about your mom alive for your children to enjoy. What a joy to be a part of the team for My Mama Monologues Denver.
Dawn Whisler: Marketing Support
I’m thrilled to be a part of this unique staged reading and this dynamic team. It’s amazing how many truths I learned from my grandmother and mother. I stuffed their ideals into my subconscious suitcase and pulled them along on my life’s journey. The stories of our beloved matriarchs are written on our souls. Hope you can join us as we honor these beautiful, crazy, funny, amazing women.
